BTW, what isn’t clear in this photo in that the white SUV right in front of my car was a cop. The air was thick with tension and you half expected a tumbleweed to roll through the intersection accompanied by old west dual music. But no, the light turned green and the cop drove off. Sigh.

Boy, talk about a shit job. Poor Owen. But seriously, I snapped this photo at a Quiznos somewhere in Mountainview . . . doesn’t anyone read over these things?

Campbell’s tomato soup and V8 are the same thing. There, I said it. Now, I know what you’re thinking: how could I say such a thing? And to be honest, I’m not sure myself. But I know I have to speak the truth, consequences be damned.

To think that all those years I suffered through drinking cold V8 with the paltry consolation of the notion that it was good for me; no brothers and sisters, I tell you do not fall for this wickedness. To them who would say “but no, they are different, I assure you,” I respond with “denial is an ugly thing, but if you cannot handle the truth, then so be it.”

Bravo, City of Monterey. To a job well done!

Remember, I’m looking for room 833 in the 800 building. I found the 800 building on the map, and this is what I see when I get there.

Where the hell was I supposed to go?? I had no idea. Standing there, dumbfounded and reaching for my camera phone, I could only wonder how such a sign could possibly come into existence. Did no one say “hey, Jeff, this sign doesn’t make any damn sense!” during any stage of development? WTF is wrong with these people? This is an institution of higher learning!

I did eventually find my class, with no help from this absurd sign.
