I got my degree in the mail the other day so it’s official, I have a bachelors degree! Just don’t ask me to spell bachelors without spellcheck! CSUMB sent it in a cardboard mailer with this really awkward letter saying “we hope you enjoyed your time here,” which was strangely similar to the email Motel 6 sent me after I stayed there, and that was it. Even Seaside High gave me a little faux leather book-thing to put my diploma in! Oh well. I guess I should be grateful the thing isn’t written in crayon on newsprint considering the budget cuts (budget– another word you can’t ask me to spell without spellcheck.)
