*poke* *poke* Here's your problem. Your upload scheme has been filled to the brim with FAIL. You'll need to have a professional FAIL cleaning crew hired to take a look at it. Just be sure to feed them lots and lots of coffee.

the people who cared and kept looking after all those years weren't after me to fix their websites, in fact, i was quite inconsistent where that was concerned, back then. i would have a lot of great plans but fail on the follow-through.

i'm much better now.

my point is, it's not really about what you do for them, it's that there really are people who really care, and as you network, you invariably accumulate this caring, providing you are the sort of person who connects. and you are.

so stick around, k? k.

@dotlizard
Awe! thanks. I appreciate you saying I'm not a blip on the radar. Now That I think of it, I'm sure there's at least 2-3 people who would miss me. Although, I will point out that you're tech savvy. What about people who aren't, like me?

from the very first time i got on the internet, i was hooked. i spent so much time defending myself against well-meaning friends who wanted me to "get off the computer" and go do something that was less fun, finally i came to the conclusion that i am not anti-social, they're antitechnical.

since i've managed to earn a pretty decent living making websites, people don't bug me about it anymore. haha i was right! again! :)

and now, with the amazing array of social media out there, i'm finding that i'm very, very happy with the friendships i've developed online. i don't think you'd be "just a blip on the radar", i'm sure there would be a lot of people that would miss you. i myself went through a rough patch for a good three, four years before putting myself back online, and many of my old friends from back then were *still* checking the places they figured i'd be, looking for me. i had all this "you're back" and all. so you know, don't discount the online friendships because they're virtual. virtual has become pretty darn actual lately.
